SAVE THE DATE: SNAP Day of Action - April 30th

Join advocates and individuals across the Northeast region in a powerful SNAP Day of Action - Wednesday April 30th! SAVE the DATE!

This regional day of action is being organized by the Northeast Regional Anti-Hunger Network, comprised of anti-hunger organizations in all the New England states plus New York. We are joining forces with Project Bread, the Food Bank of WMass and other MA orgs to dial up the noise level in MA (and with family/friends in sister states).

The goal: Raise awareness about the drastic cuts to SNAP being threatened in Congress right now, and generate phone calls and emails from constituents to the congressional delegations in every Northeastern state, asking them to oppose all cuts to SNAP. And check out these powerful resources from the National Grocers Association by state and Congressional District (and share these with family and friends in sister states).

Next Steps: Look out for instructions on Monday, April 28th, including everything that you and your networks will need to join this regional Day of Action on April 30th. This includes:

• Calling & emailing the MA Congressional Delegation members - we’ll have scripts and a link to use to directly contact your member.
• Post on social media using a toolkit developed for this Day of Action - we’ll share this on Monday, April 28th!
• Amplify this message to any of your work and personal networks.
