Shutdown avoided, SNAP COLA resources

First, we are very relieved that over the weekend Congress approved a stopgap funding bill to keep the federal government open until mid-November - avoiding a shutdown. We are grateful to our Massachusetts delegation for all of their leadership in Congress. And, we appreciate all of the work DTA, DPH/WIC, and many others in state government did behind the scenes to plan and communicate clearly with families in case there was a shutdown over the weekend. 

Our next Coalition meeting will be on Tuesday, October 24 from 10-11:30 AM. We will keep you posted in the meantime as we see what unfolds in DC over the next few weeks.
