The Administrative Conference of the United States and the Department of Justice put together a workshop for federal agency representatives to explore challenges and solutions to LEP individuals in administrative hearings and proceedings in hopes of helping them fulfill commitment to Executive Order 13166.

This report includes an overview of the workshop and a listing of all federal agency representatives who attended the workshop.

The first panel focused on implementation and administration of language access in administrative proceedings and working with interpreters during the hearing process (including scope, mode and quality of interpretation).The second panel focused on resources and tools in administrative hearings and proceedings and best practices for multi-lingual website.
