PPER Email 2014‐41: SNAP Replacement Benefits Due to Household Misfortune


This email serves as a reminder that clients can request replacement SNAP benefits lost in a household misfortune such as loss of electricity. Case managers are referred to policy citation 106 CMR 364.900 (C) and Operations Memo 2013‐30, SNAP: General Household Misfortune Procedures for instructions, verification requirements and forms required to process claims from affected households.
