Ops Memo 2011-42: TAFDC – FY ’12 Budget: Increased Work Participation Hours

The Fiscal Year ’12 state budget increases clients’ work program equirement from 24 hours per week to 30 hours per week if their youngest child is between mandatory full-time school age and eight years old.

This memo informs case managers:

• about the Work Program requirement changes;
• how to process nonexempt clients impacted by these changes; and 
• how to process new applications as of October 1, 2011.
