OLGT 2023-43: SNAP: Rollback of Student COVID-19 Temporary Procedures

The Consolidated Appropriations Act effective December 27, 2020 included a provision that expanded college student eligibility to include:

Students who are eligible to participate in a State or federally financed work study during the regular school year, but who may not be actively participating in work study; and

Students with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0 in the current academic year.
The expansion of college student eligibility provision is tied to the end of the Public Health Emergency (PHE) and will be phased out.
