Effective April 1, 2020, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act temporarily suspended the ABAWD Work Rules. This suspension shall continue until further notice.
Based on this change, clients who are otherwise subject the ABAWD Work Rules must be given a temporary exemption: ABAWD Rules Suspended (COVID-19). Additionally, clients who previously incurred a third strike or Ineligibility Strike are considered to have regained eligibility due to becoming exempt.
