OLGT 2020-35: Cross Programs: EBT Card Requests on DTAConnect.com and the DTA Assistance Line
In response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Department is streamlining the EBT card issuance process. This enhancement aims to alleviate the high volume of calls related to EBT card requests, ensure that clients can access their benefits, and improve overall efficiency.
Planned for May 1, 2020, grantees will be able to request EBT cards without speaking to a case manager by going to DTAConnect.com or the DTA Assistance Line by authenticating and using automated prompts.
Important: Clients cannot request an EBT card via the DTA Connect mobile app.
