OLGT 2016-33: SNAP Residents of Institutions

Residents of institutions that provide more than 50% of three meals daily are ineligible for SNAP benefits. However, there are five exceptions to this rule. When a client verifies his/her residence and it falls under one of the five exceptions, the client must not be denied SNAP benefits for being a resident of an institution.
