MAPC, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, has collected town, city, county, state, national (census and other), private, educational, police and other data referencing the Boston region and created the Metro DataCommon. You can find everything from high school dropout rates to transit times in the Boston area. There is also a mapping tool.
