Health-Law-Announcements
Fallon Total Care, one of the plans contracted with MassHealth and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide One Care as part of the Massachusetts capitated Financial Alignment Demonstration, has decided that they will be leaving One Care as of September 30, 2015. Fallon Total Care provides One Care coverage in Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester counties to approximately 5,475 individuals. A notice to Fallon One Care members explaining the end of the program went out last week.  It is attached.  A second notice is expected from MassHealth which is still being drafted.  It will provide members with more explanation of their options to return to fee for service Medicare/ Medicaid coverage or in some counties to be able to switch to one of the other One Care providers.

Two Community meetings have been scheduled to assist Fallon Total Care members in negotiating transfer to other One Care Providers or back to fee for service. Fallon Total Care Public Enrollment Events
