SNAP Coalition meeting: Tues May 11 from 10-11:30
 
Our Coalition meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday 5/11 from 10-11:30. The agenda will include a presentation from FNS NERO on D-SNAP, a discussion about DTA's reopening plans, a summary from GBFB on their recent report, and more timely updates -  please tune in! 
 
Also, attached please see an overview from FNS NERO on disaster assistance programs. This is a useful resource to have for tomorrow's meeting. 
 
 
P-EBT cards and process for homeless students:
 
A reminder that school homeless liaisons can now help homeless students get a P-EBT card! The P-EBT card can be sent to the school directly and the Liaison can then contact the student to get them the card, or the student can update their mailing address to a new address (including a shelter). Learn more at MAp-EBT.orgDESE has also updated their website to include guidance to McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaisons on how to help homeless students access their P-EBT Please let us know if you work with any homeless families who are having trouble accessing P-EBT!
 
Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) - application opens Wednesday, May 12!
