Immigrant worker obtained overnight mail sorter job at a bank through a friend who worked there.  Although claimant's actual employer was a temp agency and he filled out paperwork with the agency's name and address, he had no contact with the agency himself, and did not receive notice as mandated by new rules regarding his obligation to request further assignment if current assignment ended.  When all mail handlers were laid off by the bank, the temp agency had no other work to offer claimant.  On these facts BOR reverses finding that claimant quit.  BR-99136 Advocate:Cyndi Mark, GBLS Keywords: Temporary help firm, temp worker, notice
