A person who is monetarily eligible for payment of UI benefits will receive a weekly benefit amount calculated in accordance with the description in Question 4. When benefits commence, the claimant will receive a check every other week, so long as she or he continues to certify his or her continuing eligibility. See Questions 6 and 8.  Below is a list of some of the obligations, benefits and services for claimants who are receiving UI benefits.
