Statement from the Food Bank on Flooding in Western Massachusetts

FoodSNAP
We join with our colleagues at the Food Bank of Western MA in sharing our sadness over the devastating impact of the recent flooding of 2,000 acres at 75 Western MA farms. This is devastating to our farming communities and the businesses and families that rely on their fruit and vegetable crops. We urge you to share widely the FBWM statement and the link to making donations through the United Way Resiliency Fund HERE: https://unitedwaycm.org/farmfund/.

Note, the next statewide SNAP Coalition Meeting is Tuesday, August 1st, 10 AM to 11:30. There is NO meeting on July 25th as we typically host just one meeting for July and August.
