SNAP Coalition meeting TODAY 10 AM and MLRI slide deck on SNAP application denial data

We are looking forward to seeing many of you at 10 AM today. We will be joined by the new Food Research and Action Center's (FRAC) SNAP Director Salaam Bhatti for a federal update, as well as DTA Commissioner McCue and some of his team.

Note that the Guv's FY25 Budget comes out tomorrow (Wednesday), and we know many of the Coalition members' priorities are waiting for that reveal as the kick off event for the FY25 budget deliberations. Fingers and toes crossed.

SNAP access barriers:

During the meeting, we will be discussing access barriers households are facing in getting their SNAP applications approved.
