Sign-on letter: MSP changes; MassHealth dashboard

We're writing to remind you of our sign-on letter regarding MassHealth's emergency and proposed regulations on the implementation of a significant increase in the upper income limits for the Medicare Savings Programs (MSP). MLRI and other advocates have serious concerns with the fairness and legality of the way that MassHealth is choosing to implement this important benefit.

MassHealth has just published its much-anticipated interactive dashboard of redeterminations data! Take a look here. We're told that MassHealth plans to publish the prior month's data on this dashboard around the middle of each month. Currently, the dashboard contains data just for April- which won't tell as much of a story as subsequent months because of the timeline of renewal deadlines and other factors. Keep an eye out for May data in a few weeks!
