Field Ops Memo 2008-67: TAFDC

The Franklin Regional Transit Authority, effective December 31, 2008, will no longer be available to our clients for the remainder of FY ’09. Beginning January 1, 2009, clients participating in an ESP activity or working will be eligible for continued transportation payments authorized via TransAction Associates or “Transportation” payments authorized through BEACON. Clients not eligible for Transportation payments who have no other means of getting to their ESP activity must not be sanctioned for failure to meet work program participation hours. Case managers should explore if there is another ESP activity the client can attend without transportation. If none are available, the client must be given the “Meets Compliance” reason of “No Transportation Available.”
