The Department will issue a nonrecurring clothing allowance to eligible TAFDC clients under the age of 19 for September 2018. This year the Legislature raised the amount of this benefit to $350 per eligible TAFDC client.
A payment of $350 (separate from the semi-monthly payment) will be issued for each TAFDC eligible client under age 19 effective September 1, 2018. If a client under age 19 becomes eligible between September 1, 2018 and September 30, 2018, a supplemental payment of $350 per eligible child will be received at a later date.
