Effective November 1, 2014, the Department has increased the maximum transportation reimbursement payment for eligible TAFDC clients to $80 per month.
Eligibility for this reimbursement is being expanded to include individuals who are meeting their work participation requirement solely through employment. At this time reimbursement for employed clients must be done through the Transportation option on the Related Benefits page. TAO staff is reminded that clients who have an approved Employment Development Plan and who are meeting the participation hours of an eligible ESP activity, including non-funded ESP activities, are eligible for transportation payments. See 106 CMR 207.210 (B).
