Great news! Today the federal court in New York granted a preliminary injunction enjoining enforcement of the new public charge rule nation-wide.

The judge in the cases filed in California federal court also granted a preliminary injunction today but apparently limited its scope to the states that brought the lawsuits filed there.
No word yet on the cases filed in Washington federal court in which Massachusetts is a party, but Massachusetts is protected by the nation-wide injunction in the NY federal court case.
