HLAB is a student-run non-profit law firm staffed by Harvard Law School students under the supervision of attorneys. We give free civil (non criminal) legal help to low-income people in the Greater Boston area. We specialize in five major areas: housing, family, government benefits (SSI, SSDI, and Unemployment), wage theft, and special immigrant juvenile status. The help we offer ranges from referrals to full case representation, depending on client need and available resources.
