Department of Justice (DOJ), Civil Rights Division

The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) conducted an investigation and found Colorado Judicial Department (CJD) in violation of Title VI for not providing meaningful access to limited English proficient (LEP) individuals for no cost. DOJ and CJD entered into an agreement in June 28, 2011 that outlined the necessary remedial measures. See attached Memorandum of Agreement.
