Subject: Webinar: SNAP Access Barriers Facing Low-Income 50-59 Year-olds

Dear Colleagues,

Please join the AARP Foundation’s Hunger Impact Team for a webinar about our ground-breaking qualitative study “SNAP Access Barriers Facing Low-Income 50-59 Year-olds.” We are pleased to present the results of this study as part of our collaboration in Feeding America’s Hunger Action MonthTM.  The report focuses on a segment of the population served by AARP Foundation that often is overlooked, but has been impacted heavily by this last economic downturn. It is our hope that this study will motivate anti-hunger advocates to develop new tools to overcome these barriers, thus helping to increase SNAP enrollment rates among those 50-59 as well as among the 60+.

We hope you find that the report contributes to your understanding of the work we do at AARP Foundation and of the population we serve. Please share this invitation with your colleagues.
