Today MassHealth announced important new protections for MassHealth members who were enrolled in MassHealth benefits on March 18, 2020 or later. Many thanks to everyone at the Office of Medicaid for their speedy implementation of this provision!
 

Dear Health Care Providers & Advocates:

 

Latest update from MassHealth. Clarifies that testing & treatment of COVID-19 are covered under emergency Medicaid (MassHealth Limited). HSN will also cover when testing/treatment provided by hospitals or CHCs. And alerts assisters to USCIS announcement that COVID-19 testing & treatment will not be considered for public charge purposes.
 
Mass. Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), the host for our Basic Benefit Training series has postponed live programs from now until the end of April.  This means MLRI's April 2 training on Immigrants & Public Benefits  is postponed.

Public Charge
