The Connector has created a special enrollment period April 1-15 for those unable to complete enrollment by Mar 31 deadline due to technical difficulties. Remember these deadlines are not an issue for individuals who will be eligible for MassHealth or ConnectorCare.

SNAP Coalition Meeting AGENDA for March 25th:
 
This is a reminder that tomorrow, March 25th from 10 to Noon is the next Boston SNAP Coalition meeting at St Francis House.  The AGENDA will include:

The NEXT Boston-based SNAP Coalition Meeting is Tuesday, March 25th from 10 to Noon at St Francis House in Boston. The Coalition meeting will include discussion of the Farm Bill and Massachusetts "H-EAT program".  A more detailed agenda will follow.  Meanwhile, we wanted to give you a couple of SNAP Updates.
 
1. SNAP paper applications in multiple languages:  
 
Effective March 1st, MassHealth will pay for fillings for all teeth.  Attached is the Dental Provider Bulletin.
 
The Governor's budget calls for restoration of denture services beginning in January, 2015.  The legislature has to act on the Governor's request before anything is certain.  Advocates, led by Health Care For All, are seeking a more comprehensive restitution of adult dental services, to include periodontal services, through the budget process.

Temporary Coverage.
Hot off the press!  Governor Patrick has just announced plans to continue the Heat and Eat LIHEAP benefit in order to protect 163.000 low income SNAP households in Massachusetts!  This is a huge victory and so very important for the thousands of low income households subject to lose SNAP had Massachusetts not elected this Farm Bill option.  
 
Please take a moment to THANK Governor Patrick for protecting SNAP recipients in Massachusetts !!
