DTA Interim Commissioner Stacey Monahan is continuing to tour the state and host "Listening Sessions" in local communities.  According to Peter Sasso who attended the SNAP Coalition on Tuesday, the following are the next five Listening Sessions on DTA's Schedule:

The Massachusetts ACLU is calling on the Massachusetts Legislature to study the impact of a photo ID requirement on MA   EBT recipients. Attached is their letter to members of the House. 

Please continue to call your local Representative in support of Rep. Cabral Amendment #602 and urge them to SLOW DOWN and study the negative consequences of this provision.

Please Ask Your State Representative to Support These Amendments to the Proposed House Budget

There are a million House budget priorities and MLRI will be updating you accordingly over the next few days of areas where phone calls are needed.
One area stands out as an achievable win-  The January Restoration of MassHealth Adult Dental Services.
The Governor included restoration in his budget, House Ways and Means did not.
We need House leadership to feel the heat.
The April SNAP Coalition meeting is next Tuesday, April 23rd from 10 to Noon at St Francis House, 39 Boylston Street.
