Upcoming Trainings on Benefits for Working Families. SNAP and College Students

This is a brief announcement with two upcoming training events in December:

Wednesday, December 8
Income Maximization for the Working Poor (Families and Individuals). This is the sixth in the series of Basic Benefits Trainings held at Mass Continuing Legal Education in Boston, from 9:30 - 1 PM. The session focuses on various supplemental benefits and assistance programs to help working families and individuals maximize their income and reduce their expenses. You can register in advance, or the day of the event.

Wednesday, December 15th
Informational workshop presented by MLRI on college students and SNAP eligibility guidelines. This event is hosted by Project Bread and the Worcester Advisory Food Policy Council. Please come and learn more about how this population can access these much-needed benefits. This session will be from 10:30 - 12 noon at the following location:
