In the update sent last week regarding implementation of the Harper Settlement Agreement, Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) staff noted that Client Assistance Coordinators have been appointed in all DTA offices. DTA has now published their contact information.  It'€™s attached and is also included in DTA's Online Guide at:

LANGUAGE ACCESS CONFERENCE:  Beyond Service, Toward Empowerment

Every day in Massachusetts limited English proficient (LEP) individuals face countless barriers when accessing needed public services and navigating the legal system. Changing demographics and increasingly diverse immigrant and refugee populations profoundly impact the way our state’s institutions meet the needs of our most vulnerable communities. 

Next week MassHealth will be in Lawrence twice: Tuesday June 23 for a stakeholder session to hear from the public, and again on Wed. June 24 for an enrollment event for people who need to reapply for MassHealth.
 
MassHealth will also be in New Bedford twice: First, on Thursday June 25 for a stakeholder session to hear from the public, and again the following week on Tuesday June 30 for an enrollment event for people who need to reapply for MassHealth.
