Upcoming FS/SNAP and Other Public Benefits Trainings for 2010/11

I. MLRI's Annual "Basic Benefits Training" Series:

Based on the number of inquiries about upcoming trainings, I am sending
additional information on the 2010/2011 Basic Benefits Training (BBT).
Below are the 11 trainings planned for 2010 and 2011. Attached is a pdf
flier with more detailed descriptions. To register, go to www.mcle.org
and click on the Feature Box for MLRI Basic Advocacy Trainings. Be sure
to indicate if you are a Legal Service advocate or community advocate
(e.g. you work for a non-profit) to get the $25/session registration
fee.

2. Food Stamps/SNAP Benefits 101 Training - October 13th:

MLRI and ABCD are co-hosting a FS/SNAP 101 training on Wednesday,
October 13th from 10 to Noon in Boston. This training is for community
advocates around the state who are starting to do Food Stamp/SNAP
Outreach or who provide information and referral services at community
organizations. More details and a training registration flier to
follow.
