The Pediatric RISE program provides a guaranteed income for up to 6 months to families with no or low income who have a child receiving treatment for newly diagnosed or newly relapsed cancer.
The Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Boston Children’s Hospital is the overall administrator of the pilot, and 100% of the funding for this pilot is from a private philanthropic donation.
The income received from The Pediatric RISE program is non-countable for all DTA programs.
