New SJC case on sealing: Com. v. Peter Pon
Date:
08/15/2014
GBLS won an appeal in the SJC on 8-15-14 where the SJC threw out the old onerous standard for sealing cases from its 1995 Commonwealth v. Doe case and parted ways with the First Circuit. The new standard is "good cause" which will make it easier to seal cases.
