Not infrequently, victims of crime want to move as a result of a crime. This booklet provides information for victims of crimes other than domestic abuse, sexual assault and stalking about options if they seek to end their lease early, or transfer to a new unit in public or subsidized housing.

Victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking can review this booklet instead: Leaving Your Housing After a Crime: For Advocates Assisting Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking.
