2. Rosie's Place expands services to low income women:

Our sister organization, Rosie's Place has also announced expanded services for low income women and children. Attached is a directory of services and a message from their ED, Sue Marsh: "We've been able to expand services, including now having advocates, esl classes and food pantry until 8 p.m. every weekday. We also have a (free) visitation room for clients needing one for seeing their children in DCF or other care, and a (free) nurturing class that meets DCF requirements for clients' service plans. We've doubled our staff doing home visits to at-risk women, and will be doubling our housing search staff later this year. Please feel free to let your colleagues know about these efforts, if they'd like to refer clients."  More information and contact info also available at www.rosiesplace.org
