We are near the finish line! The Senate FY20 budget has both $1M funding and language directing the Baker Administration to pilot allowing applicants for subsidized health care (MassHealth and Medicare Savings Program) the option of applying for SNAP at the same time. The House FY2018 budget does not include this language or funding. We need your support to encourage the FY20 Conference Committee to "recede" to the Senate provision.
We urge all SNAP Coalition organizations to sign onto this letter and urge you to share it with your networks. See also SNAP Gap ACTION Steps in attached flier.
