DTA Policy "Blurbs" on Verifications


DTA has been issuing daily policy "blurbs" intended to be reminders to staff on key policy items. The attached include review of SNAP and cash polices related to verifications. This includes reminders to staff that many items do not need to be verified again unless questionable, and that DTA has an affirmative obligation to assist clients in obtaining verifications by looking at data in data bases and contacting third parties. The attached also includes BEACON screen shots and information about how DTA case managers should review and processed verifications. 

These DTA blurbs are not dated, but were issued at various times in 2016 and are current as of September 16, 2016.
