First, THANK YOU ALL for adding your organizations to the national sign-on letter to the US Senate and White House, prioritizing SNAP and food security programs in the next COVID-19 federal package.  Stay tuned for a FRAC update on the release of the final letter and social media opportunities to amplify.

SNAP Support Letter to US Senate and White House: Deadline Extended to COB TODAY - Friday June 12th

Greetings all.  This is a reminder of tomorrow’s SNAP Coalition Zoom meeting, 10 – 11:30 AM and additional updates of interest. 

June 9th SNAP Coalition AGENDA:

We have some important updates on how to PIN the Pandemic EBT cards; reminder on getting your organization’s name onto the national sign-on letter; ensuring local food pantries are not asking for photo IDs or SSNs from families; upcoming Immigrant/Benefits trainings. 

A reminder, the NEXT SNAP Coalition meeting – by Zoom – Tuesday, June 9th at 10 AM. 

NEW P-EBT portal to get child's case number 

We are sending two eblasts this AM.  The first are updates on P-EBT and online EBT purchasing. The second eblast will include two organizational sign-on letters:  One to the MA Legislature (House Leadership) on the MA SNAP Gap campaign; one to Congress on the next pandemic package. 

Note, there is NO SNAP zoom call tomorrow. Next SNAP Zoom call is Tuesday, June 9th at 10AM.  We will be doing SNAP Coalition meeting every other Tuesday for the next two month.

P-EBT Update:  

Thanks to everyone who called in to yesterday's Coalition meeting after the long weekend! At this point, we will be moving to bi-weekly SNAP Coalition Zoom calls. The next SNAP Coalition Zoom will be on June 9 from 10-11:30. In between Coalition calls, we share critical updates we receive from DTA or national partners by email! Please don't hesitate to reach out between calls with questions or issues.
