This is a reminder of tomorrow's SNAP Coalition Zoom meeting, April 21st from 10 – 11:30 AM.  DTA will be joining this call. We expect a packed agenda given recent developments, so please tune in at 10 AM.  See zoom call info below.  Please also note, the Fallon Foundation has emergency grants to help organizations address immediate needs for food/social isolation.

Thank you all for the work you are doing during this wildly hard time. We cannot say that enough!! We will have our weekly COVID-19 Coalition Zoom call again on 4/14 at 10 AM. 
Below  is data from DTA on COVID-19 application and call volume, a preliminary update on interview procedures at DTA, guidance on Pandemic EBT and public charge, additional translations for SNAP fliers, and an update on WIC stocking. 
In the event that this clarifies any questions you've had about MassHealth's freeze on terminations, we wanted to pass along this helpful messaging from the MA Health Care Training Forum. This includes information for people who have received termination notices or Requests for Information, or have lost their MassHealth benefits since March 18. 
A few things this afternoon - Sign onto FRAC letter, tune in to the SNAP Coalition Zoom call tomorrow morning, share flier on halt to harsh SNAP work rules, and get info on broadband/phone services.

COVID-19 SNAP Updates: 
    Bear with us, a lot is happening fast as you all know. We'll be sending a later announcement with health updates today. But our clients and patients aren't just worried about access to health care, they are also worried about paying their bills & putting food on the table.
    These are some resources from our colleagues  about SNAP benefits available now & what we know about promised extra unemployment benefits & what the IRS has put out so far about  "economic incentive payments."
