Happy end to a rainy May!  Here are some updates on important issues we’ve been tracking.

SNAP Gap Campaign update:  

Yesterday the Massachusetts Senate adopted Senator Sal DiDomenico’s amendment #434 along with a $1M boostin additional EOHHS funding for the Administration to take steps to pilot closing the SNAP gap!  This is HUGE!  Thanks to all who weighed in. This is a tremendous victory!

HEARING on TUESDAY AM!  As noted in earlier emails.  We have a hearing on the SNAP Gap legislation (H. 1173 and S. 678) on Tuesday AM at the State House.  Room A-1 from 10:30 to 1 PM.  

Lot's going on this week and next.  

Upcoming Legislative Hearings - May 28th and June 3rd:

We hope you are feeling energized by the FIRST DAY of full sunshine/no clouds in months - this past Saturday.  Woo Hoo!!  And even the sunshine poked it's head out in parts of MA yesterday afternoon.
