The latest information on SNAP/ Food Stamp advocacy in Massachusetts.

We are heartbroken to confirm that the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has allowed the Trump Administration to proceed with implementing the "public charge" regulations to bar low income immigrants from getting legal status in the United States.

A very busy January indeed!  Lot’s going on. 

Just want you to know that Massachusetts has joined a multi-state lawsuit against the Trump Admin SNAP regs.  If you want to see statements included in the litigation by DTA and MLRI, see pgs 29 and 82 of the Complaint, also referenced in Plaintiffs Motion for Preliminary Injunction.  See also 

There’s  been a lot of media since the early December  release of federal SNAP rules that impact individuals age 18 to 50 who are “able bodied without dependents” or “ABAWDs.”  What’s happening is very confusing, much like learning a new dance step where you move forwards, backwards and then spin around. Here’s what we can share.
