Breakfast in the Classroom and Instructional Time - YES!
On Monday afternoon we received word that USDA and DTA agreed to EXTEND the deadline for SNAP to February 18th (Wednesday) for certain SNAP households to request SNAP "replacement" or "misfortune" benefits. These are SNAP households who lost power for 4 or more hours as a result of January 26-28th Winter Storm Juno. The SNAP households who were impacted the most by this storm live on Nantucket and Cape Cod, mostly Provincetown. The original deadline for replacement benefits was February 8th.
The words I wish to write about these non-stop NE snow storms are not suitable for print... but, remember, we are HEARTY New Englanders !  Toward that end, please note the following:
SNAP 101 Basic Benefits AM Training and Veterans Benefits PM Training are ON for tomorrow!
