Program Description:

MVNS is a legal aid program which provides free legal advice and representation in civil legal cases to low-income and elderly people.

 Intake Notes:

Phones are answered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Intake hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The office is closed Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Those age 60 and older who live in Ashby, Ayer, Groton,  Pepperell,  Shirley and Townsend should contact the Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts (LACCM) elder unit for assistance at 508-752-3718, instead of MVNS.

Those age 60 or older who live in Boxborough, Burlington, Littleton, North Reading, Reading and Wilmington should contact the Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) elder unit for assistance at 617-603-1776, instead of MVNS.

Those age 60 or older who live in Southern Essex County, including Beverly, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Lynn, Lynnfield, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahont, Peabody, Rockport, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, Topsfield and Wenham should contact Neighborhood Legal Servicesfor assistance, (781) 599-7730, instead of MVNS.
