Information Director
Gene Koo manages the content on the MassLegal websites, acting alternatively as editor-in-chief, head librarian, site designer, cheerleader, and liaison to partner organizations. Gene is responsible for working with the sites' editors and managers to ensure that good information goes to the right places at the right time.
Currently, Gene is working on a statewide practice study of legal aid advocates for MassLegalServices. He is also connecting MassLegalHelp to the many pro se efforts taking place throughout the Commonwealth, both within and outside of legal aid.
Gene received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2002 and his B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1997. He currently resides in Cambridge.
MassLegalServices Board of Editors
The MassLegalServices Board of Editors identifies, collects, and publishes critical information to the MassLegalServices website. Each is responsible for a different substantive area of law and thereby provides critical support to hundreds of legal aid and lay advocates throughout the Commonwealth.
The editors currently comprise the following individuals:

MassLegalHelp Board of Editors
The MassLegalHelp Board of Editors authors, or collects and edits, legal education materials for the MassLegalHelp website. They are responsible for both the legal accuracy and readability of these materials.
