LSC Adopts Final Rule Lifting the Restriction on Seeking Attorneys Fees

The federal Legal Services Corporation Board adopted the final rule lifting the restriction on seeking attorneys' fees. The action was taken in accordance with the elimination on the statutory prohibition on attorneys' fees in LSC's FY 2010 appropriation legislation. The rule was published in the April 16, 2010 Federal Register and became effective upon publication. The final rule and the accompanying supplementary material are on the LSC website.
