Training Announcement -- Basic Benefits Series

Registration has started for the 2009/2010 Basic Public Benefits Advocacy trainings, a series of 11 trainings for legal, social and health services and community advocates who assist low- and moderate-income individuals and families.  The trainings include the following topics: 

  • Unemployment Insurance
  • CORI
  • Emergency Shelter
  • SSI/SSDI
  • Accessing Affordable Housing
  • Cash Benefits (TAFDC, EAEDC, Veterans)
  • Food Stamsp/SNAP
  • Supports for Working Poor Families
  • Elder Benefits
  • Health Care Access Programs
  • Immigrants and Public Benefits
