Dear Assisters,

The Health Connector learned that approximately 7,000 members who need to make a payment in order to effectuate coverage did not receive their Health Connector Enrollment Bill for their February coverage. Because their bill is being sent late, we’ve extended their payment due date for this month to February 10, 2017.

These members will receive coverage for the full month of February if they pay their bill by February 10, 2017. Please be aware that health insurers, doctors, and pharmacies will not show these members as covered in their systems, until payment has been received and processed.

Affected members will receive a cover letter (see attached) with their Enrollment Bill, outlining their extended payment due date.  We will also send a similar email message to those members who have an email on file.

This change in payment due date is a one-time exception.  All ongoing premium payments are due as usual, by the 23rd of every month.

How can Assisters help:

  1. Encourage any members that you may be helping with this issue, to pay their Enrollment Bill as soon as possible but not later than February 10, 2017.

  2. Help explain to these members that that their health insurer, doctors, and pharmacies will not show them as covered until their payment has been received and processed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused for our members.

The Health Connector
