Worker Centers in Massachusetts (a non-exhaustive list)

Worker centers are community-based organizations that provide, among many things, organizing support for low wage workers. They are often the only support/friend/ally that immigrant workers have, especially recent arrivals.

Worker centers create opportunity and connect workers with resources, including legal assistance, mutual aid, etc. Many worker centers have extensive networks, such that the assistance a worker center can provide a worker is as expansive as their networks.

Worker centers also are social hubs that help integrate immigrant workers with their communities and seek to create community leaders. Most worker centers are geographically based, while others are industry specific (domestic workers for example), and others specialize in particular groups (language, national origin, etc.).  I
